Melanie Márquez Adams es la autora de los libros Querencia: crónicas de una latinoamericana en USA, El país de las maravillas: crónicas de mi sueño americano y Mariposas negras: cuentos extraños. Melanie, tiene un Máster en Escritura Creativa por la Universidad de Iowa y su obra en inglés y en español aparece en varias antologías y revistas.
Es la fundadora y directora editorial de Anfibias Literarias y la editora de una serie de proyectos, entre ellos Imaginar Países: Entrevistas a escritoras latinoamericanas en Estados Unidos, Ellas cuentan: Crime Fiction por latinoamericanas en EE.UU., y Del sur al norte: Narrativa y poesía de autores andinos (obra premiada por el International Latino Book Awards). Melanie coordina las reseñas en español para Latino Book Review y dicta talleres online de escritura creativa a través de Seattle Escribe y Hugo House. Visita su página aquí.
Adam Booth's original stories blend traditional mountain folklore, music, and an awareness of contemporary Appalachia. A nationally touring artist, his professional appearances include premiere storytelling events across the United States, such as the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, the International Storytelling Center, the National Storytelling Festival, the Appalachian Studies Association Conference, the National Storytelling Conference, the National Academy of Medicine, and as a Spoken Word Resident at the Banff Centre (Alberta, Canada).
He is a member of the Recording Academy, and his recordings have received a Parents' Choice Gold Award, two Parents' Choice Silver Honors, and four Storytelling World Awards and Honors. He is a four-time champion of the West Virginia Liars' Contest. Adam is the inaugural Storyteller-In-Residence at Shepherd University. Visit his website here.
